The Scottish Chambers of Commerce Annual Business Address was a roaring success last night.
Attended by the policy makers and businesses, the key voices of Scotland, the room was full of positivity.
The key note speeches by the one and only Mike Soutar, The First Minister of Scotland John Swinney, CEO Dr Liz Cameron CBE, The Lush Co founder Rowena Bird among others were both inspirational and realistic about current economic conditions.
The evening just flew by and I am sure everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I definitely did. The time flies when we are surrounded by so much inspiration, friends and extremely productive and fun conversations.
The message of resilience despite the tough conditions and continued collaboration between Business and politics was strong and well received. Businesses and Politics need to work together. Scotland will keep delivering and progressing despite the challenges, with so many amazing businesses in all sectors right here.
